More Detail
Coming from an art school background, they were interested in paper as an artists' material and this remains the focus of what they do. Handmade papers are made sheet by sheet, not in a continuous roll. These Nepalese Mountain Papers are made of the bark fibre of Lokta (Daphne bholua), a renewable resource, reharvested every 3-4 years and are produced using local dyes. As well as a beautiful wrapping paper, Nepalese Mountain Paper makes a wonderful surface for printmaking and drawing in ink.
