Natural Sponge

Particularly useful for watercolourists, natural sponges can be used to create 'natural looking' effects whether imitating foliage, cloud effects or creating other marks. Many effects can be achieved simply by altering the paint to water balance in the sponge on application to the working surface. As sponge is a natural product they do not conform to a uniform shape or size.
