Fabriano Venezia Book 200gsm

Containing 48 sheets of smooth Fabriano Accademia drawing paper, Fabriano Venezia books have a textured cover inspired by the modern mosaics present in the San Marco area of Venice.

Bound in stitched sections, Venezia books are easily fully opened to allow for larger drawings and are available in sizes; 10 x 15cm, 15 x 23cm and 23 x 30cm. Fabriano is the oldest paper mill in Europe, and have been making paper since 1264 during which time they invented the watermark and developed the first surface sizing to protect paper.

Fabriano paper was used by luminaries such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Durer, and Goya and it is testament to the enduring quality of the paper that many of their artworks exist today.
