Conte Sanguine Drawing Pencil

Conté Traditional Drawing Pencils are available in a number of differing meterials. Sanguine is a deep 'rust' colour which is easily blended and can appear transparent but increases in opacity with the application of added pressure. Sanguine is traditionally used for drawing nudes and can be combined with Conté's white pencil (an essential complement to other pencils in the Conté range, giving a transparent mark) creatinging highlights and Pierre Noire to emphasise contrast.
