Accademia paper is also suitable for the addition of coloured pencil and gouache. Containing 30 sheets per pad and glue-bound along the short edge of the paper. Available in A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes. Fabriano is the oldest paper mill in Europe, and have been making paper since 1264 during which time they invented the watermark and developed the first surface sizing to protect paper.

 

Fabriano paper was used by luminaries such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Durer, and Goya and it is testament to the enduring quality of the paper that many of their artworks exist today.
