Conte Pierre Noire Drawing Pencil

The Conté Pierre Noire pencil is a soft lead pencil with a black that is dense, rich, intense and matt. Pierre Noire pencils are ideal for use on a number of surfaces including paper and linen canvas and are perfect for many subjects, whether nudes, landscapes or rapid sketches.

It is suggested that the barrel should be shapened with a knife and the lead shaped with a scraper or sandpaper. Available in a number of grades, H, HB, B, 2B and 3B.
