Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish will mix into any acrylic paint to enhance the depth of colour intensity, increase transparency and gloss, ease the flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion of paint film. Gloss Medium & Varnish resists discolouring (yellowing and fogging) and will not crack as the surface expands and contracts during temperature and humidity changes making it applicable for any surface (flexible and inflexible) suitable for acrylic paint and mediums; canvas, paper, wood, and plexiglas.

When added to a heavy body acrylic Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish acts to extend volume and increase translucency, while decreasing paint viscosity and can be further used as a non-removable varnish to protect the painting and establish a gloss sheen surface. The incredible versatility of Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish allows other uses including as a binder for pigment to make an inexpensive student grade Soft Body gloss paint. This most flexible of mediums is available in a number of sizes; 118ml, 237ml, 473ml, 946ml and 3.78L.
